An effort from a die hard tennis fan  to bring the entire tennis fraternity of India  under one roof. My crazy passion for Indian tennis started from the early 1990s following young Leander Paes` heroics in the  Davis Cup.

Today after two decades I firmly believe that India is at an exciting time and is at the cusp of tennis glory. The recent emergence of singles players like Yuki Bhambri and Ramkumar Ramanathan have reinforced the belief. More importantly the depth in Indian tennis with young players like Karman Kaur Thandi, Sumit Nagal, Zeel Desai etc make us believe that India is slowly going to leave its mark on the global tennis arena.

However as we all know that tennis is not a typical middle class game. A talented Indian junior who wants to make it to the pro has to spend roughly between INR 50-70 Lacs per year to travel around the world to gain the much needed exposure and ATP/ WTA points. Otherwise you will need to be like Adil Kalyanpur whose parents  have the resource and vision to take forward his tennis dreams.

On a positive note we have players like Ramkumar Ramanathan, Ankita Raina, Sumit Nagal  and Karman Kaur Thandi who have had the backing of associations and individuals backing them.

Thus in a scenario where the sport is showing promise it is the need of the hour of the tennis loving fraternity to come together and make this mission a success. Vamossss!
